Member update: Adventist HealthCare hospitals

After months of negotiations, we’re pleased to let you know that Australian Health Service Alliance has reached an agreement with Adventist HealthCare on behalf of the funds it represents, including CBHS Corporate Health Fund.

Adventist HealthCare operates the following private hospitals:

• Sydney Adventist Hospital (SAN) at Wahroonga NSW
• San Day Surgery in Hornsby NSW.

The agreement will honour claims for admissions from 1 June 2022 onwards.

This update might be relevant for the next time you’re considering your private hospital options. By using a hospital CBHS Corporate has an agreement with, you’ll help reduce or remove your out-of-pocket hospital costs.

Going to hospital – how to help keep costs down

If you’re going to hospital, we always recommend you contact your chosen hospital to confirm what your out-of-pocket costs will be. This is known as informed financial consent. If you know what procedure or treatment you are having, please call our Member Care team who can advise how much CBHS will cover.
